Tales from the road to awakening

Micro / Macro

I really connected and felt IT today. The program; the way everything is layers upon layers of programming. The way that for the earth, all of the micro-programs / life within it all contribute to a greater whole, and if I reflect on it now, to macro it out to how the Gaia mind connects to everything. Eric says it time and time again, and we all say that we understand it, that we get it, but do we really?

I would have to say that, at least for me, a lot of my understanding was intellectual instead of actually being completely real to me. But today, on my walk back from the gym, I started to let my mind wander, and I was reflecting on how natural moving my consciousness into other things / navigating was to a part of me. I was moving my consciousness through cars; seeing and feeling the complexity of all the parts that go into a car – the thousands of curves, angles and material’s that make up the vehicle itself. Even though I was moving my consciousness into the car, it’s like I was experiencing the pieces of it holographically in my mind.

After moving my mind through cars for half a block, I started to reflect on the programming of cities, and how each city was collectively made up of all these smaller programs within it, and the levels to the program seemed so HUGE! Macro-ing my consciousness out, I felt how many different consciousnesses contributed to the city at the higher level, and then started going through the layers within one of those consciousnesses. There were so many layers! And they kept getting smaller and smaller and smaller, until I realised that it was like each molecule of energy could be distilled to a basic program, and they kept compiling together and at certain points would reach a level of a kind of critical mass that we would consider as a ‘collective’ program for the chair, or the room, or the city (and of course it keeps expanding).

As I was tripping out on this, and looking around in wonder with these new eyes and perspectives, my eyes fell on a mailbox. My consciousness halted for a moment; as my organic mind said ‘Move along; it’s just a mailbox’ but I went deeper. I felt a kind of satisfaction when it is used; not necessarily a consciousness as we would understand it; but the collective cells within the structure of the mailbox definitely knew their purpose and could determine when it was being fulfilled.

Then I walked past a mailbox (one used to send mail) and I could see in my mind this energetic overlay – like the mail box was collecting and routing packets of information – really happening quite fast, but because our perspective is so limited it seems so slow.

I was then reflecting on the micro within myself, and as I looked around saw the houses and cars as a kind of cell wall; with people being the nucleus that carries and exchanges data and carries with it a more individualized purpose than the cell walls itself.

It’s amazing to think that I have heard Eric talk about it so often, and yet to actually experience the truth of it was such a revelation to me! And I can feel that I still have deeper to go into it .

Thank you Eric.

Adventures in Playa

The events that take place in this blog occur slightly after the chuning. To understand my state of mind (and the state of awareness we were all in at the time) you might want to read my previous blog Notes from the Eye of a Storm if you haven’t already.

So, the chuning had been over for a while, and I had finally psyched myself up enough to leave the main room (part of me didn’t want to leave the room, because it didn’t want the experience to end – boohoo for me right? :P ). I walked down the foyer and up to reception to get a replacement key for my door, and my (now former) coach Baard came up to me to get my attention. He then went to wander off, so I thought I would go see what he wanted. Apparently a group of people were going to the Vampire club (referred to in the ‘Only Hypermarket in playa’ broadcast), but he didn’t think I was suitably dressed, so he wasn’t going to mention it – I told him that I would go get changed, and I started to run back to my room.

Sprinting back to my room while that shifted was such a bizarre experience; my brain was still pretty fried, and the air was literally crackling with prana around me as my feet pounded the pavement; the air felt hot as it was burning in my lungs and the contrast of the cool night air on my skin as my body temperature escalated felt weirder than it usually does.

So I get changed, and head back to the main area, and find Mark waiting by the taxi rank for me, as the others have already headed in. So we jump in a cab, and fortunately Mark knows where to go, so he tells the cabbie the destination and we’re on our way. We got out of the cab a little before our destination, so that we could stroll along a bit and take in our environment. Now, as much as it was an enjoyable stroll, and there was an obscene amount of red and blue everywhere, not too much caught my attention on the walk. But the second we walked up to the door of the club, and paid the cover charge, it was like stepping into another world.

The entrance was like one of those padded leather or vinyl doors – like someone had taken a big thick couch cushion and spread it over the door, like the roof of a casket almost. When you open the door, you walk up this dark hallway, where the only lights are these tiny bright blue globes that line each side of the walkway (think those lights along the corridors in movie theatres, but a little bigger, waaay brighter, and a white / blue tinge). This then opened up into a square room that was kind of dark, but still illuminated a little by the blue light, which had a red curtain sealing off the next room.

Then, through the curtain and is a bar that has an almost totally red colour scheme (admittedly, this one was pointed out to me, as I was so in awe when I first arrived and walked through I didn’t notice). You then walk out onto this balcony / open area, that has a series of half moon shaped, cream cushion seats that make up a circle around a pole in the centre of the room that stretches up to shade netting, that hung down above us like a really open tent. There was a bar to the right, and there were tables along the balcony walls. The colours out here were far more neutral, except for the red and blue lights that were projected intermittently onto the sails / netting above us, giving off this cool illumination. By this point, we had bumped into Highermind, and we were trying to forge our way through the throng of people filling this popular dance floor and crowding around the bar as the music filled the night air with deep, rhythmic base and distinct, high-pitched melodies on a busy Friday night. After fighting our way past the crowds, we managed to find Baard and the others, and we all sat down and decided to kick back for a while, and look for any details that stood out. We were hoping to observe some of the beings spoken about in the Hypermarket broadcast, and also enjoy a night out with fellow white cells.

After a little while, we moved onto some of the seats in the central area (the half moon type seats in the centre of the dance floor) and sat there chatting while being aware of our surroundings.

As a little bit of time started to pass, we started to have more room to move, and I didn’t really think anything of it at the time, but this was a popular club at 1am on a Friday night on 5th Avenue, so it should have been getting busier – not quieter! But we keep hanging out, trying not to be too obvious as we try to search for someone ‘out of the ordinary’.

It was at about this point that Baard, Tina and Philip started laughing at Highermind who was standing in front of us dancing – I looked to see what they were laughing at, and Highermind was ever-so-subtly incorporating the Hand-of-hands into his dance moves! At this point, the extra room we had in the club went from something you casually noticed, to ‘OMG! Where did all the people go?!?!?!’. I am telling you – around the central seating area was absolutely PACKED when we got there, and now it was essentially empty! The people that were still there were standing around the sides (as far away from us as possible, lol) and the entire cushioned area that stretched around the pylon in the middle was empty; except for the segment we were on which made up about ¼ of the seating area, if that. After we all realized what was going on (which was essentially that after the chuning we were radiating the Force so strongly, our combined tonals ‘flushed the club’, so to speak), we all had a laugh, but after a while decided we weren’t gonna see much action here, so we went and got some pizza and hit the shisha bar across the street.

  • Note: the following few paragraphs are things I have learned through personal experience of using the methods discussed in the Power of Now with my HBI training, I am by no means saying this is definitive – it is just my perspective based on my own personal experiences. Your mileage may vary.

Ok, so let me start by saying that I have a deep respect for Eckart Tolle, and I was involved with his stuff before HBI and it really helped me with surrendering a lot of pain and I experienced what I perceived at the time to be some deep states of awareness (but they were like ripples on the surface of a bottomless ocean it turns out, lol).

That being said, I think there is a HUGE difference between the way Mr Tolle teaches body awareness and the way Eric does – and if you are just using Mr. Tolle’s method then you are cheating yourself out of some good stuff. ;)

What is the difference? Ok, it’s been a while since I’ve read the book, but Tolle talks about entering the energy field of the body, and feeling its awareness. At first, this sounds similar to what we do during meditation right? Well, yes and no. Yes, in that we also practice body awareness, be it at a more refined level (ie – focus on the chakra’s instead of the body in general), but we also have an awareness / intent of collecting prana – which is the most important thing. Eric teaches that if you are not aware of prana, you’re ability to draw it in is severly limited.

Ok, so that covers the basics right? If we take our higher balance knowledge and combine it with Tolle’s techniques for body awareness, we should be a golden prana sponge right? In short – no. I mentioned before that if you were just using Tolle’s body awareness when Eric says be aware, that I believed you were cheating yourself and now I will explain why. Eric talks about the brain shifting to higher gears when you force it to absorb more data – you need to push your organic brain beyond it’s processing limits so that it has to tap into something higher to deal with the demands you’re putting on it.

So, the difference between Eric and Tolle’s technique is this – Tolle focuses on internal body awareness; Eric teaches us to be aware of as much of our body at once as we can be – how it feels, how the environment we are in feels as it interacts with our body (be it through temperature, furniture, etc) essentially forcing our brain to take it far more data from the surrounding environment than we normally would, which forces our brain to shift into a higher gear to process all the data, which allows us to take in more and more subtle data, which shifts our awareness higher and higher. So. Awesome.

Ironically, when you’ve trained yourself in Eric’s method, if you ever try to use Tolle’s method, you will automate into Eric’s.
