Tales from the road to awakening

I really connected and felt IT today. The program; the way everything is layers upon layers of programming. The way that for the earth, all of the micro-programs / life within it all contribute to a greater whole, and if I reflect on it now, to macro it out to how the Gaia mind connects to everything. Eric says it time and time again, and we all say that we understand it, that we get it, but do we really?
I would have to say that, at least for me, a lot of my understanding was intellectual instead of actually being completely real to me. But today, on my walk back from the gym, I started to let my mind wander, and I was reflecting on how natural moving my consciousness into other things / navigating was to a part of me. I was moving my consciousness through cars; seeing and feeling the complexity of all the parts that go into a car – the thousands of curves, angles and material’s that make up the vehicle itself. Even though I was moving my consciousness into the car, it’s like I was experiencing the pieces of it holographically in my mind.
After moving my mind through cars for half a block, I started to reflect on the programming of cities, and how each city was collectively made up of all these smaller programs within it, and the levels to the program seemed so HUGE! Macro-ing my consciousness out, I felt how many different consciousnesses contributed to the city at the higher level, and then started going through the layers within one of those consciousnesses. There were so many layers! And they kept getting smaller and smaller and smaller, until I realised that it was like each molecule of energy could be distilled to a basic program, and they kept compiling together and at certain points would reach a level of a kind of critical mass that we would consider as a ‘collective’ program for the chair, or the room, or the city (and of course it keeps expanding).
As I was tripping out on this, and looking around in wonder with these new eyes and perspectives, my eyes fell on a mailbox. My consciousness halted for a moment; as my organic mind said ‘Move along; it’s just a mailbox’ but I went deeper. I felt a kind of satisfaction when it is used; not necessarily a consciousness as we would understand it; but the collective cells within the structure of the mailbox definitely knew their purpose and could determine when it was being fulfilled.
Then I walked past a mailbox (one used to send mail) and I could see in my mind this energetic overlay – like the mail box was collecting and routing packets of information – really happening quite fast, but because our perspective is so limited it seems so slow.
I was then reflecting on the micro within myself, and as I looked around saw the houses and cars as a kind of cell wall; with people being the nucleus that carries and exchanges data and carries with it a more individualized purpose than the cell walls itself.
It’s amazing to think that I have heard Eric talk about it so often, and yet to actually experience the truth of it was such a revelation to me! And I can feel that I still have deeper to go into it .
Thank you Eric.

I was going through the Higher Balance Nav site and reading my bio – and I thought that it was probably a good idea to change what was written there as I hadn’t updated it in a while .. and I found myself in an interesting conundrum; when the person you are becoming is a constantly evolving and changing reality, and the only thing that seems constant in your personality is a drive to evolve and develop and the challenges and hang-ups you are working to overcome – how do you define yourself?
I think part of the problem is something that many people face when trying to describe themselves – we are all multi-faceted organisms that are made up of the combined interactions of many smaller organisms – even our personalities.
That and all the data I really have is about the personalities and feelings of this organic body I am current in – this being called Pete. It is one thing to be able to understand the concepts that ‘you are not your body’ and that ‘your body is really made up of billions of microorganisms’, but it is another to be able to describe who – or rather what – you are. Eric teaches that often is it simpler to discover what you are by determining what you are not – and I can see and intuitively feel the wisdom in that. It does make it difficult to share the concept with another though.
I wonder how personalities are stored in the brain … is it simply a set of neural pathways that are created through habit and absorption of the world around us? Is there a limit to the amount of chemicals a brain can be programmed to generate? Like, with people who are always happy or always depressed – it would make sense that seeing as these two varying emotions are chemical based by their nature that it would take a certain amount of the particular chemicals (I believe serotonin is the primary contributor) to be released (or blocked) for the feeling to be maintained – can this have a negative effect of brain chemistry (or even biochemistry)?
There have been many studies done that show how a depressed persons immune system is weaker and there are many physiological responses to a person being either ‘happy’ or ‘depressed’; but these are more reactions of the body to either the chemicals being released (or blocked) to trigger the emotion in the first place; or, a reaction to the psychological state the chemical release creates within the brain.
But is there any limit to the amount of chemical that can be generated? If someone is always happy – is it possible that over time the chemical receptors responsible for the chemical absorbtion in the brain become less sensitive? Or is the latter possible; ie – if someone is often depressed; do the receptors get starved for the chemical release and thus produce more of an effect is any of the particular chemical gets through?
Another question that has been building on my mind lately that is related to this is as follows; if studies indicate that spiritual states of mind are caused by chemicals released from the pineal gland – what effect does this have on the pineal gland? Is part of the spiritual journey a ‘training’ of the correct gland’s in the organic body to be able to synthesize the required amount of chemicals to allow for deeper and deeper states of conciousness to be acheived on a much regular basis?

I was surfing the web today and found this video that I found very interesting; it’s about a development process that is currently occurring for something called the ‘sixth sense’ which is basically emulates some of what one could achieve with a finely tuned sixth sense into technology.
How amazing is that?! Technology that essentially integrates the collective consciousness of global ideas with our external reality.
I imagine that in the not too distant future the trend towards smaller portable PCs designed for simple tasks and portable interaction with the web (for instance the netbook, IEE PCs) will merge with the smart phone and devices like these will essentially gives users an always on and un-encumbering interface to share and retrieve information about the world around them with other users in real-time.
It has the potential to become a faux sixth sense for the general populace (hence the name I guess).
It could potentially be dangerous for people who seek spiritual growth however; as if we come to rely on technology such as this then any natural sixth sense development we may have throughout the course of our lives could be extremely limited which may make it more difficult for our Navigators / higher conciousness to communicate with us and lead us towards awakening.
None the less; the geek in me is still very excited about the potential of this technology; and the white cell in me sees this as part of the next step in the evolution of the planetary conciousness.
